First of all, then, I urge that supplications prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good, and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony to which was borne at the proper time. For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling. (1 Timothy 2:1-8)
As I sit here writing this, I am also watching the beautiful memorial that’s being put on, on behalf of Charlie Kirk and the legacy that he left behind. And as sad as the moment is, it’s probably one of the most beautiful things that I’ve ever witnessed in this nation in my entire lifetime and I’ve lived a long life, far longer than Charlie was given the opportunity to live.
Before I go any further, I must say that I’ve never seen a suggested reading in the back of my Bible that was more appropriate for today than 1 Timothy 2:1-8! Never. It’s as if God Himself hand picked today’s Gospel reading for just this day.
Today’s Gospel, all about prayer and praying for everyone and here I sit watching 100’s of 1,000’s of people gathered together in this nation to pray and worship God. No rioting, no setting fires, no looting, no killing, no demands for vengeance, just praying, singing, and worshiping the one God that Charlie Kirk so dearly believed in and only wanted the rest of our nation and the world to believe in as well.
However, the evil on the left would want the nation and the world to believe that Charlie and those of us who believe in that same God are nothing but bigoted, radical, far right, extremist domestic terrorists who want nothing more than to destroy this country and kill them. But anyone in their right mind and honest with themselves, would know that is only their side deflecting on us who they are! If this nation cannot see by now who they really are, if they cannot see that we are at a true “turning point” in this nation and the world, then there is no hope for those who are so blinded by the lies of Satan and his following.
We must take what is said in 1 Timothy 2:1-8 to heart on this day and every day from this point on if we want to save the people of this nation and to save this nation as “One Nation Under God” we must be willing to take the instructions concerning prayer from 1 Timothy 2:1-8 seriously.
We must make the evil far left realize that just because they silenced one strong voice among us, there are millions more who are now more than willing to carry on the work that Charlie started! This is not a fleeting moment, this is not a fleeting movement, this is THE “Sleeping Giant” they’ve been warned about for years. This is THE “Sleeping Giant” they have finally poked one too many times.
We will NOT resort to violence, we will NOT resort to hate filled threatening words because we know that the battle belongs to Jesus and when we stand by His side, we will refuse to back down and we will NEVER SURRENDER to their will but only to His will! For we know that by standing by His side there is no battle, there is no evil that they can throw at us that will stop us from winning the battle!
To all the Democrats and far left radicals out there who shouted out vile curses, threats and calls for violence against us and continue to do so and continue to try and tarnish the memory of one of the greatest Christian leaders this nation has ever seen, you haven’t seen anything yet! The “Sleeping Giant” is fully awake now, so try to stop us, good luck because it’s not going to happen.
As Christians, we truly want to unite our country, however, we refuse to unite with those who would kill us! Read these words carefully everyone, but, especially you on the left:
“If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.” (Matthew 10:14).
“And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” (Mark 6:11).
“If they do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” (Luke 9:5).
It’s important to note that the action of “shaking the dust off their feet” was a symbolic act, signifying a rejection of the town’s unwillingness to receive the message of Jesus Christ. It showed that the disciples had fulfilled their duty and were leaving the town to its own fate, with the dust from that place no longer attached to them. And this rings true today for us vs you who refuse to accept the Truth!
For this battle belongs to Jesus and Jesus alone and we will follow in His footsteps and in His faithful servant, Charlies and we commit ourselves to fighting this battle with them and know this: We DO NOT fear you, we only fear our God! We proclaim this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
