As we continue to prepare our hearts for the coming of the Christ child this Advent, let us not forget that He not only came to give us hope but He also came to grant us peace. Not the kind of peace that the world offers, but a kind of peace that only the soul can understand.
Let us prepare our hearts this week and every single day to be ready to accept the kind of peace that only the belief in His Son can bring us.
Let us pray that we can open our hearts to others and show them the same peace that He offers us, He will also offer up to them. Let us reach out to those we barely notice and offer them that peace. We ask this in Jesus’s Holy Name – Amen!
