Light the first two purple candles and the rose colored candle of Joy. Find a way to bring unexpected joy to someone’s life today-maybe a handwritten note or a small, spontaneous act of kindness.

Daily Prayer

Lord, on this third Sunday of Advent, we light the candle of Joy. Thank you for the joy that blossoms even in the deserts of our lives. Help us to recognize Your presence, which is the source of all lasting joy, and let that joy overflow to everyone we meet today.
